“The Lip Stick unintentionally became the reference for All-Mountain boards. It marked the profound change in shape between boards with lots of setback and those that were more centered with more pronounced tails to make it easier to ride switch. The graphic was a fully fluorescent checkerboard pattern that was very recognizable for the last half of the 80s. This re-edition shares shapes with the Escape. This is the perfect board for spending the entire day out on the mountain. It features: our Absorbnid top sheet for added responsiveness and absorption; with a full positive camber between the contact points; our Premium Sandwich construction for plenty of power, responsiveness, pop and shock absorption, the result of using advanced materials like carbon and Kevlar®; our extra strong, responsive and lightweight Master Core, built with the perfect harmony of different wood densities and types for a superior weight-to-performance-to-power ratio; and our extremely tough, sintered N-9000 base, produced with carbon nanoparticles to provide exceptional glide.”
